HYDRO-ELECTRIC POWER STATION MODEL

It shows the conversion of mechanical energy into electrical energy using a bike alternator.

These different possibilities of connection allow you to use it:
  • connected to a LED, to show the production of an ac voltage resulting from the rotation of the alternator;
  • combined with the strength indicator to compare the electrical power produced by a water fall with a fixed volume at different heights.

To study the produced electrical signal more in detail, it is possible to computerize the experiment. In this case, the system can be continuous by positioning the model directly under running water.

  • Conversion of mechanical energy into electrical energy;
  • Production of an AC voltage;
  • Dependence of hydropower on the height of water fall.
